CONVERSE ATTACKS RED HOOK

Over at converse.com you can download a song written by Pharrell Williams, N.E.R.D., Santogold and Julian Casablancas "as part of the brand's Century celebration". You can decide for yourself on this one. Majority has it - it's a bummer. I dunno. #1 Keyboard noise filler is dumb; #2 That bass line is annoying; #3 It doesn't make me want to dance. The saving grace is Santogold. Her voice is summer- no question.

But check it - I guess they are filming over at Red Hook this Wednesday. I'll be riding my bike over to watch Smokey's Roundup at Sunny's Bar ... maybe I'll care enough to snoop around the set (free stuff/food?)
